Farm Owners Insurance
You Have Made It Your Living. Keep It Protected
While many insurance companies and agents have abandoned the farming business, we at Allen & Stults Co. continue to embrace it as we have since 1881. We understand that not all farms and not all farmers are the same. We also understand that the investment in your farm and your plans for its future are different from the farmer down the road. Designing the right insurance program for your farm can only be done after many questions are asked and answers received. Would you rebuild that barn? What equipment is essential for your operation? Do you want to protect your livestock from lightning strike or death by fire? What is the value of your harvest and should it be insured before you deliver it?
For many farmers their farm is both their business and their home. At Allen & Stults Co. we combine your personal liability, farm liability and business/commercial liability on one policy with one company. Rates are based on what you own and what you do. You don’t pay for farming activities that you do not do.
Equine operations are a large part of our agribusiness department. Whether you just own you own horses for pleasure, board for others or even breed, raise and train horses, we can design an insurance program that will fit your needs.
For most people, a farm is more than a place to work – it is also where you lay your head after a long day. Under the dwelling portion of your Farm Owners policy, Allen & Stults Co., Inc. will help pay for damages to your home and any attached structures for all accidents and perils included in your policy.
Your Farm Owners policy also covers losses that may arise due to the damage or theft of personal belongings such as clothing, electronics, or home appliances. Items used in daily farm operations such as machinery, automobiles, and animals are not eligible for coverage under the personal property section of your policy, as they require additional protection.
Liability protection from Allen & Stults Co., Inc. helps pay for legal fees, medical expenses, and other losses that you may be held liable for, that result from covered injuries or damage to other people’s property. Further coverage options, including employee injury liability, are available for an additional premium.
