Q. My payment is due today; can I call the office and pay by credit card?
A. Allen & Stults Co. Inc. cannot accept credit card payments. However, many insurers will allow you to pay by phone or online via their websites. The following insurers accept online payments:

The Travelers Insurance Companies

Q. I just bought a new car, what do I need to do to add it to my policy?
A. Either you or your dealer should provide the following information:
1- Copy of Window Sticker (New cars only)
2- Copy of Temporary Registration Tag
3- Odometer Statement
4- Lease agreement (if applicable)
5- Loss payee information (if applicable)
Q. I am renting an apartment, do I need insurance?
A. Should you be required to provide proof of personal insurance, Allen & Stults can provide coverage through a “Tenant’s” policy which provides coverage for your personal effects and personal liability.
Q. I want to get my kids a trampoline for the backyard; will this affect my homeowner’s coverage?
A. Many insurance carriers will exclude liability coverage for injuries involving a trampoline. Check with your agent before making a purchase.
Q. My neighbor’s car is at the garage, is it ok to loan him my car for a while?
A. Loaning a vehicle is your decision, however liability insurance applies to the car, not the driver. For example, if you neighbor has an accident, liability protection against anyone who may file suit will come from your car insurance policy.
Q. Who is a public adjuster? Do I need to get one in the event of a claim?
A. Public adjusters are independent contractors who may contact you after a property loss. They are not associated with either the insurance carrier or our agency. They promote themselves to assist in obtaining all eligible benefits entitled to you for claim settlement, however most will charge a hefty fee. (A percentage of the total claim settlement, sometimes up to 30%) to represent you. Once you contract with a public adjuster, we can no longer assist you directly with a claim.
